small update...
I've decided to go ahead and upgrade my headlights

http://retroshop.us/4th%20Gen%20Quad...s/298352ec.jpg

I still have to get the front fender trim cut/matched/painted to finish up the front of the fender well. Front bumper will be repainted by Ram at the same time. Will install LaminiX over the front fogs afterwards. I am going to go ahead and plastidip or paint the rims...still undecided.

I recently pulled the RBZ in favor of a Kenwood Excelon and sub/speakers/amps upgrade. I really likeed the RBZ and tried to keep it, but I dicked the factory wiring harness up and just got frustrated. Now I have the altenator whine, so I have to recheck everything....more time lost screwing with this radio. I should have just paid the installers now that I look back on it. I am also upgrading the wiring on the amps to 4 gauge from 8....I tried once again to go cheap...

Lot of damn work for a truck going into storage. Anyway, I'm headed overseas, just got a few more steps in the hiring process, should be about a month before I actually fly. Family will be moving permanently to Vegas while I'm overseas.

Why overseas? Well, simple...money. The government contract I am working comes to a close on the 22nd of September. The company that won the contract...lowest bidder. Took a HUGE cut in pay...and ZERO benifits. Don't hurt me none, I'm retired, but some of the guys I work with are bailing out...to include me.
I'm kinda putting this out there for a couple reasons...we (Fort Sill) are losing 3200 jobs within the next few weeks...65,000(civilians) across the military in general(+63,000 soldiers Army-wide), with more to come. That is really going to hurt a lot of folks locally.

Trying to stay non-political.

Regards
Jeff
