Fog Light Switch
 

Went to the store the other night. Fog lights were fine. On the drive back home, no fog lights. (Light bar in the switch didn't illuminate.) Next day fuse was found to be OK. I suspect the switch itself is dead.

I saw a switch on eBay or Amazon for about $25. Is that a fair price...anyone priced a dealer's cost?

That sounds like a pretty fair deal for a factory replacement switch

Well dang. I spent coupla hours getting the switch changed out by myself. Must be a short somewhere since the light bar in the switch illuminated OK, but when I checked the fog lights, they were still dark. And the light bar is now toast also. I suspect it's time for the professionals...:banghead:

Anybody have a similar experience?

Finally got the truck to the shop for an oil/filter change. Had 'em fix the fog lights as well. Turns out the problem was a bad relay! $28 plus labor, not bad. :happy3:
