Door speakers
 

I have a 2003 quad cab and im trying to figure out what size and what speaker to get. General consensus is 6x9 for the fronts and 5 1/4 for the backs. Can anyone verify that?

First off, welcome to ORC! For the speakers, that sounds right, but I would wait on some others to chime in that know more about them. Also, post some pics and give some info on your truck and yourself

yes and you can also fit most 6.5's in the rear without cutting the hole bigger

what kind of sound are you looking for?
what type of music?
are you running them off a factory deck? aftermarket? or possibly an amp?
do you have factory infinity system?

@ Matt I'm just looking for good clear sound. I play all different types of music. I'm not sure about the deck and I'm not running them off an amp. And I'm also not sure about the infinity system.

are your speakers blown or are you just wanting an upgrade? look at the a-pillar of your door panel there's an indention if you have infinity there will be a badge there that says so

jared, lol your running a stock deck im pretty sure, and you dont have the infinity system. thats the upgrade system for the dodge out of the factory

My drivers side, front and rear, are blown. The passenger side is fine though.

My 03qc i put 6.5 cmponents in the front door n 5.25 coaxils in the rear n i loved it. If ur wantn direct fit id buy some jl audi 6x9s n 5.25 all coaxils.
