Favorite secret photo spots?
Alright, everyone knows I like finding cool spots to take pics with the truck but I really want to find some new ones. I plan on washing my truck tomorrow and taking it (and the new DSLR) out for a little spin but I can't think of anywhere cool to take some pics.
Here are the type of picture locations I've used before, including their coordinates on Google maps (to find a location's coordinates just right click and click "What's here?" and it will give them to you): Abandoned grain mills in Norman: (35.226463, -97.447786) http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...m/SANY1910.jpg Oklahoma River near "Regatta Park" in OKC, OK: (35.4582, -97.5001) http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...0-19183434.jpg Long personal driveway in Norman, OK: (35.276316, -97.396116) http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...m/SANY1821.jpg Abandoned building on Hwy 9 near Pink, OK: (35.260741, -97.118744) http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...m/SANY1713.jpg Up-scale addition entrance in Norman, OK (kind of a pain as it's the entrance to the neighborhood): (35.256921, -97.440748) http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...otoshoot58.jpg Abandoned barn (and house) in Norman, OK: (35.262717, -97.461471) http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...otoshoot46.jpg Pretty much anywhere on Westheimer Airport as most of the larger buildings are rarely used: (35.240519, -97.458901) http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...hotoshoot4.jpg So...can anyone give me some other ideas? |
I did find one more that's going to be the best I've ever used but it's an hour drive away...I may just go for it or just re-use the abandoned barn location.

damn, thats sweet!

Lat. and Long.: (36.11654,-96.65849) Actual Address: 27540 East Chicago Avenue, Oklahoma, United States Can be seen on goolgle maps if you type in the address and look south on street view. It Estimates a 30 minute trip from Kicker HQ to this spot, but if several people wanna see it and maybe take some pics it'd definitely be worth it. |
You said it was close to stillwater right? If so, we all need to go there and get group pics when we go to the Kicker Bash
|
it is less than 30 minutes from stillwater, 30 minutes exactly from Kicker HQ. So I figure If we get several guys to go out there, or even just a couple would be fine with me, it would definitely be a worthy trip. Group pics of all of our trucks while we're all together since it sounds like alot of us will be there sounds great! Even if we just have to take em somewhere in Stillwater I think we should set up and get some as a group.

I agree.
