I'm happy for you dude. If you thought that 2nd Gen chop made you want to mod a truck wait until you see what I'm cooking up for your '07...

I agree!

ramthis9501 09-28-2011 11:39 PM

That does look pretty sick

Matt 09-28-2011 11:49 PM

only thing is i would do a different wheel ... those are being played out like crazy right now lol this is coming from a guy rocking rockstars lol but if you really like them it won't bother you .. as it doesn't for me ...

abn1985 09-29-2011 08:16 AM

That's sick David....

As for the rims might have to do a custom boss 333 white with black inserts

BMRbrnSNRbrd 09-29-2011 10:58 AM

Either one...I'm partial to the 333's.

OklaHemi 09-29-2011 11:58 AM

sweet now lets get these bitches together for some photos

(S.M.R) 101 09-29-2011 12:25 PM

Meet in NOV...... :D

Matt 09-29-2011 12:35 PM

i'll bring my SLR lol

OklaHemi 09-30-2011 08:38 AM

we need to have a door handle, mirror, wiper cowl, antenna base color matching party

BMRbrnSNRbrd 09-30-2011 10:40 AM

I know someone who can paint small shit pretty well for an amateur with rattle cans...

That's the one thing that bugs me now when I look back at my '04...I was too scared to paint all five handles and the antenna base. As for the mirrors, never been a fan of fully painted ones...I like the little painted pieces on the 4th gens though.

OklaHemi 09-30-2011 10:43 AM

that was probably what bothered me the most last sat was the mirrors and wiper cowl. i think next monday im going to pull it all off

BMRbrnSNRbrd 09-30-2011 10:44 AM

I'm cool with full color matching on a black truck as it's really just changing the finish of those parts...not the color.

(S.M.R) 101 09-30-2011 10:45 AM

^^ x2

myoung84 09-30-2011 10:48 AM

I still need to do my antenna cover, tailgate handle, and rear badge, not to mention my headlights.... I might tackle it this weekend if I start feeling motivated.

OklaHemi 09-30-2011 10:49 AM

that is my plan. im doing the emblem today and starting the detailing. im going to remove that little fuzzy thing on the wiper cowl under the hood in just a minute.

ramthis9501 09-30-2011 10:55 AM

I would do it but I just don't think it'd look right with what I got going right now

OklaHemi 09-30-2011 10:59 AM

you need a plan colton, to know what you want your truck to look like in the end. you cant start slapping stuff together with no direction, it will show.

BMRbrnSNRbrd 09-30-2011 10:59 AM

I think doing your handles would be great.

I'll tell you what Colton...you find an extra set of handles (shouldn't be hard) and supply the materials and I'll paint them for you.

I might just take you up on that offer, I'll have to get some money saved up before I do it though. Thanks Dave

I know but I actually like what I got going on right now, but color matched handles would be pretty cool

Matt 09-30-2011 12:01 PM

that's kind of the spot i'm at right now .. i'm not liking all the shades/textures of black i've got going on ... i've got my paint, and then matte black wheels, gloss black steps that aren't perfect to the paint, a flat black bumper that's a little different then my wheels, and then the plastic trims, and i have a set of matte plastic bushwackers that haven't been put on yet, so that's why i think i'm going to line-x a bunch of stuff to pull it all together

abn1985 09-30-2011 01:58 PM

Im Going to be redoing my system this weekend and putting my rockford 2000 wat amp in!
