This might happen

Going to catch a lot of shit about this but I had a chance this week to check out and drive a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk........ I fell in love.

Every option you can think of!! even the Hemi.. The interior is amazing.. I love the black and red stitch. Very comfy in all aspects.

Thoughts?

Love it but I like your truck more. I really don't like the red tow hooks.

(S.M.R) 101 12-27-2012 10:48 PM

I love the truck too man lol. But the jeep is so bad ass... smooth as silk. I actually like the red tow hooks

0212353 12-27-2012 11:31 PM

fuck

no.

(S.M.R) 101 12-27-2012 11:37 PM

Come on jj..... not even a little bit?

0212353 12-28-2012 12:09 AM

as a secondary vehicle, yes. to replace your truck, no.

Here's my deal........I owed SUVs in the past. They just don't cut it. You can't put anything big in the back (always the fear of too much dirt). Gas mileage is about the same as my truck.....so, screw it. Hell, my minivan is more practical than the SUVs we had. I can put more in them, they ride better, seat more (comfortably) and well yeah, I look pimp rollin' in my town & cuntry.

BMRbrnSNRbrd 12-28-2012 12:17 AM

Honestly dude, if your truck was stock or near-stock I would say go for it...you don't see how badass your own truck is.

Matt 12-28-2012 12:23 AM

you know it's not that hard to buy some seat skins that look just like that and then you would have the best of both worlds ... i like the interior but other than than ehh your truck is better ...

(S.M.R) 101 12-28-2012 01:22 AM

I hear you guys. The truck is just a tank and to be honest I really have no need for a truck.... I just bought one to buy one. I have always loved Jeeps but maybe i'm just looking for reasons to get rid of it.

Something has to give with the suspension in the truck... I hate the way it rides. I guess I just need to pony up and do the full suspension upgrade to get it to ride a little better..

I know it's a truck and is not supose to ride like a caddy but it is all over the place on the roads...

Like I said I think i'm just trying to talk myself into buying someting else...

0212353 12-28-2012 01:28 AM

bring the truck to me. I'll trade you mine, and my dog. deal?

LOL

(S.M.R) 101 12-28-2012 02:06 AM

Throw in dinner and it's a deal! haha

0212353 12-28-2012 02:10 AM

well that was a deal breaker there......lol

(S.M.R) 101 12-28-2012 02:27 AM

Boom

myoung84 12-28-2012 10:02 AM

Those are pretty sweet, but I say no... If you're wanting a better ride, give the guys at 8lugtruckgear a call and order up some Carli shit.

BMRbrnSNRbrd 12-28-2012 11:42 AM

Think of it that way dude...Yeah, more upgrades to the truck but then you'll have a customized truck that actually rides great.

ramthis9501 12-28-2012 03:30 PM

Your truck is badass... Keep it!

(S.M.R) 101 12-28-2012 05:49 PM

I can always count on my fellow rammers to talk me out of a stupid decision!

I guess ill go ahead and beef up the suspension!

myoung84 12-28-2012 07:42 PM

x2!!

(S.M.R) 101 12-28-2012 08:47 PM

I just don't even know where to begin with the suspension upgrades....

I'm going to need a lot of help getting what I need for the truck lol..

myoung84 12-29-2012 01:13 AM

How much do you want to spend? :)

0212353 12-29-2012 10:30 AM

lol

he just got engaged, so he has about 40 cents to spend!

(S.M.R) 101 12-29-2012 12:24 PM

2k? Maybe 3 if I need too.

In lieu of what I spent on her ring. I told her I get to spend the same on my truck... so I've got about 6 grand to play with.. I just wont tell emily that!

myoung84 12-29-2012 01:23 PM

Check out the Performance 2.0 system. Then sell me you Bilstien 5100s... ;)

(S.M.R) 101 12-29-2012 02:25 PM

That's a good looking kit. So is there a major difference between performance 2.0 and the back country 2.0... I'm thinking just the shocks are the difference. It's about 340 less then the performance 2.0.

I'm really not looking for off road systems because it's not a off road truck lol... but if I'm going to spend this much on a system what's 300 bucks?

myoung84 12-29-2012 03:35 PM

It looks like the back country is for the diesel only.

Good observation Morgan.

Okay... How in the hell am going to install this bitch! No way I can do it myself.. and the only shop that is equipped and experienced enough to do it won't install products theatre not bought through him..

I hate being up here.... people suck

BMRbrnSNRbrd 12-29-2012 04:13 PM

Ship that bitch to my house and we'll have an ORC meetup for the install! You'll have to sell Morgan the shocks with the condition that he comes here for the meet to get them.

(S.M.R) 101 12-29-2012 04:21 PM

Haha deal.. some people were saying with a lift and all the right tools it could be done in a few hours with no lift, tack on few more hours.

But that would be awesome to get everyone together and have everyone working on this. That would be a blast

myoung84 12-29-2012 04:47 PM

Honestly, I think the 2500 suspension is easier to work on than the 1500...

(S.M.R) 101 12-29-2012 05:35 PM

Really?

myoung84 12-29-2012 09:03 PM

I think it's easier, there's not much to it. You just need really tall Jack stands and a couple of jacks.

BMRbrnSNRbrd 12-29-2012 10:32 PM

I'm dead serious if you decide to do it Kyle.

(S.M.R) 101 12-30-2012 12:14 AM

I've decided.. just need to get a date nailed down to bring the truck down.

0212353 12-30-2012 12:18 AM

you better swing through STL!

(S.M.R) 101 12-30-2012 01:06 AM

And this time I will stop jj lol... last few times have not worked out.
