Sorry Morgan lol.. no secret with you guys on this one. I'm having Jeremy paint up some 2013 sport headlights for my truck silver and mineral grey. I'm pretty excited to see how its goin to look on my truck.

0212353 04-25-2013 09:42 PM

I was looking at your sigpic.......and I think we should swap the pattern.....

what do you think?

OH...and you sir are lucky - my 2013 prices are going up. I opened 4 of those f'ers today - what a pain in the ASS those things are to work with. The sealant is even worse. LOL

Not sure what the deal is, the others I've opened didn't seem to be like this........wonder if they changed the sealant in mid run. assssssholes.

myoung84 04-26-2013 08:21 AM

Now that will be awesome!

(S.M.R) 101 04-26-2013 08:27 AM

Thanks guys :)

I was thinking that as well jj. I need to send you a picture of what I'm thinking about.

0212353 04-26-2013 08:30 AM

this needs to be darker on your truck...

myoung84 04-26-2013 08:40 AM

I think MG bezels would look better.

0212353 04-26-2013 08:43 AM

me too.

(S.M.R) 101 04-26-2013 01:21 PM

I was thinking maybe do the outside of the bezel silver and the inside MG. See what i'm getting at? and do the turn reflector MG along with inside of the Bezel. just the outside silver.
and maybe even doing the projector shroud silver.... mmmmmmm

Or swap and do the outside bezel MG and insides Silver with a MG shroud...

0212353 04-26-2013 01:28 PM

lets make 'em pink.

(S.M.R) 101 04-26-2013 01:33 PM

Fucking DONE!

0212353 04-26-2013 02:24 PM

ok, works for me.

myoung84 04-26-2013 02:39 PM

Who doesn't like a little pink? :D

0212353 04-26-2013 02:47 PM

lol, zing!

(S.M.R) 101 04-26-2013 04:06 PM

Feelings on the above?

Part of me says the MG on the outside of the Bezel would look good because the grill is MG in the middle... But I could also do the silver on the outside...... Damnit

DoubleTakeDodge 04-26-2013 04:20 PM

I think silver on the flat pieces that face the front of the truck around the outer perimeter and MG on everything behind it with a 2tone projector housing..

0212353 04-26-2013 05:04 PM

needs MOAR photochoppin'

(S.M.R) 101 04-26-2013 05:32 PM

Think I need Dave's help with this one.

(S.M.R) 101 05-03-2013 05:55 PM

Finally got my Bully Dog tuner installed..... That I have had since January :D

This is a really cool unit.... and it really gives the truck a kick in the ass. feels real good.. I will be messing with the settings more until I find a perfect setting that I will run full time.

http://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/...ps44c00422.jpg

and FYI.... If you do the Piller Pod.... Make sure you have someone with you who is more cool and calm headed... Because trying to get the provided screw back into the threads with the new piller pod was the worst part about the install of the entire unit!!! TRUE STORY.

(S.M.R) 101 05-03-2013 05:58 PM

And a huge thanks to Morgan for helping me out with a few of my issues.

Thanks again man

0212353 05-03-2013 09:03 PM

yes, that fucking screw..........OMG I wanted to throw it.

Thats ok, I don't have it on my truck anymore! I used the tuner there 1x.......so F it.

(S.M.R) 101 05-03-2013 09:08 PM

Dude, It takes a lot to get me flustered...... But I just about lost it lol..

That literally took the longest out of all the install.

0212353 05-03-2013 09:15 PM

Yeah, they need to redesign the way that goes in.........I mean, that is like throwing a hotdog down a hallway, to try to get it in the mouse hole.

Re: (S.M.R)101 2012 Outdoorsman Build Thread

Haha i've literally done like 10 pillar pods for h&s tuners between my truck and installing for other people (same pod as bully dog) and every single time I've gotten so pissed off that I just about set the damn thing on fire. So yall aren't the only ones lol

myoung84 05-04-2013 09:55 AM

Glad you got it going Kyle. And yeah, that bolt sucks!

Matt 05-04-2013 02:01 PM

i don't understand lol let me in on this screw detail lol can't you just use a nut driver with a small piece of tape to hold the screw in or a magnetic setter?

0212353 05-04-2013 02:11 PM

sometimes........you just can't find the hole

(S.M.R) 101 05-04-2013 02:47 PM

It's just the location of the bolt hole on the 4th gen.. and the way the hole on the actual piller pod is drilled out it's not a perfect line up with the stock bolt hole so you have to keep messing around with it.

myoung84 05-04-2013 03:08 PM

It needs some hair around it...

0212353 05-04-2013 03:30 PM

lol

BMRbrnSNRbrd 05-04-2013 09:12 PM

At least it looks clean.

(S.M.R) 101 05-05-2013 01:52 AM

Nice Morgan haha.

I agree Dave. It fits real nice.

(S.M.R) 101 05-09-2013 12:16 PM

Video after I installed the Bully Dog. I have not had a chance to mess with the shift points and rpm stuff so I still have some work to do wit it. I want to max everything out on the tuner.

Not bad for a 7,000+ pound truck with 35's...

(S.M.R) 101 05-09-2013 12:18 PM

Here is a walk around of the truck. Never made a walk around yet so figured I would do one.

0212353 05-09-2013 12:39 PM

gonna have to redo that bad boy soon. :D

(S.M.R) 101 05-09-2013 03:28 PM

Yes sir Mr. JJ :D

And I will

myoung84 05-09-2013 03:43 PM

I love the way that AT3030 sounds! Truck looks pretty damn awesome Kyle!

I dug up my CAT scales printout and I weighed in at 7300 lbs with me in it the truck, so we'll call it 7100. I also had my heavy ass bed cover and recovery gear in the bed plus the winch so you might actually be less than 7000 lbs... Not that it matters that much, it's still fuking heavy! LOL

(S.M.R) 101 05-09-2013 07:31 PM

I also have 6 of the 60 pound sand bags in the bed of the truck... help keep some of the bed hop down.

I need to get the truck weighed as it sits. I did the 0-60 with the bd preformance test and ran 8 seconds flat lol.

0212353 05-10-2013 03:56 PM

kyle...another piece of your build arrived today
