Ya they are. They were justvmockd up in that pic.

BMRbrnSNRbrd 07-29-2012 05:57 PM

How is it coming bud? Would have loved to see it at the show yesterday.

hemipowered22z 08-07-2012 05:50 PM

Its going. I need to get some pics up. I have the back tore down and cut out. Started going back together but its been so hot I haven't been working on it much. I plan on getting back on it thurs thru sun and getting the back done. Ill still have to build my fuel cell and order my new axles but at least all the suspension fabrication will be done. I need to get off my lazy a$$ and get it all done but with work and the new baby and school haven't had time to do squat. Im finishing up my bachelors degree.

hemipowered22z 08-25-2012 11:38 PM

Well guys finally some updated pics. Been stupid busy lately. Here is a few pics of the back Its not 100% done but the link is set up. I still have plenty of work but shes laying flat and yes it lays. Im thinking about upgrading to some 26s.

http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u...z/IMAG0232.jpg

Ill take some pics of the rear link set up tomorrow or monday after Im done burning it all in.

ramthis9501 08-25-2012 11:49 PM

Wow! Alot of work going into it, but it'll definately be worth it!

BMRbrnSNRbrd 08-26-2012 06:34 AM

Damn man, she is looking good! 26s huh? I always thought the 3rd gens looked proportianate with 22s and 24s at most.

hemipowered22z 08-26-2012 01:17 PM

I'm content with my 24s I'll see how it looks when I get the bed on it

BMRbrnSNRbrd 08-26-2012 02:01 PM

Judging by the way the front looks, you'll be trucking enough that it will look great.

hemipowered22z 08-26-2012 04:04 PM

I think so. The back should tuck a Lil more b/c of the shape of wheel wells. Im sending the axle shafts off this week to get shorter ones built.

hemipowered22z 10-21-2012 11:51 PM

Wow. I havent updated in forever and just read the post above this one and had to edit it because it made no sense at all. Ive got alot done but havent taken a whole lot of pics but heres a few.

Fuel cell tacked together
http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u...z/IMAG0258.jpg

Fuel cell almost complete. Just needs the inner coating and paint
http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u...z/IMAG0260.jpg

This will give you an idea of how it will all be. Just have to finish painting the fuel cell, put some shocks on, and hook everything up.

Im hoping to drive the truck oneday this week and we will be putting the bed back on the truck on sunday.

Hope you guys like it.

Very nice! Been waiting to see how far it was. It's coming along very nicely! And the rear end looks great! Do you have a measurement of how far it is away from actually touching the ground?

(S.M.R) 101 10-21-2012 11:56 PM

That's wicked dude! Can't wait to see it all put together

myoung84 10-22-2012 01:05 AM

The frame is on the ground n the body is probably an inch n a half off the ground. I haven't measured it.

hemipowered22z 10-24-2012 03:39 PM

Well I got a little bit more work done. All I got left is to put the muffler on, bleed the brakes and a lil gas n then it will be test drive time.

Air Zenith ob2. Im gonna change to dual viars pretty soon.

myoung84 10-25-2012 03:29 PM

Do you not like the Air Zenith? It looks like a great compressor on paper, 4.25 cfm, 100% duty cycle, and 200 psi. My dual Viair setup puts out 4.55 cfm but it's only a 33% duty cycle and 150 psi...

hemipowered22z 11-13-2012 05:00 PM
