What gets me though...........if he pays with PayPal......how the F do they get it back? I don't know how that scam would work...

That's what I was thinking. I understand the bank account scam but not this one. Maybe they try and hack your pp account?

I got that exact same text last weekend about the old axle off my truck. It's abunch of bs of course but like you said, that is about the most legitimate one I've seen so far haha

Someone got my PP info and jacked damn near 4 grand out of my bank account a few years ago. Thank god I was fully reimbursed for everything... but it took about 4 months for it all to come back to me.

I thought you said that was from logging on in a coffee shop or something. Some weird non secured wifi or some fucked up shit?

I was staying at a hotel using their WiFi at the time.

Looks like I sold my boat today, for real this time! Had a couple drive 5 hours from Kansas to look at it and they loved it. Luckily it was a nice day and we were able to get it on the water for a little bit. As soon as I let the guy behind the wheel his eyes lit up and I knew is was sold at that point. We settled on a price (which was more than I was expecting), signed some paperwork and they gave me a $250 deposit. The rest should be taken care of as soon as their bank gets the financing done. I did agree to meet them in southern Kansas so they didn't have to drive all the way back down to Tulsa. I'm excited that it sold so early, but really sad to see it go... :(
